In the 1950s, Armstrong moved into telephone ownership by purchasing the Ritchie Telephone Company in Harrisville, West Virginia. Today, Armstrong owns and operates independent telephone companies in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New York. These companies provide local and long distance services, digital calling features and DSL service. Throughout the years, Armstrong has upgraded and added new services and features, hanging miles of fiber and installing digital switches.
Armstrong's commitment to quality, reliable service and its investment in dedicated employees, many with more than 30 years of service, has helped us to be a leader in the telecommunications industry.
